Wells Fargo & Company is now the largest purchaser of green power in the country, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency. The US Air Force held the top spot last year by buying more than a billion kilowatt hours of renewable electricity; this year the military agency cut its purchase by more than half. Wells Fargo this year is buying 550 million kilowatt-hours of wind power from 3 Phases Energy.
