SMWM, a Leading San Francisco Based Architecture Firm purchases 375 Megawatt Hours of Renewable Energy

San Francisco, CA - Oct. 16, 2006 - SMWM, a leading San Francisco based architecture firm, has partnered with 3 Phases Energy Services, LLC to purchase 375 megawatt hours each year of clean, renewable wind energy using renewable energy certificates (RECs). This initiative will offset 100% of SMWM's emissions from electricity usage, as well as employee commuting miles.

Environmental Benefit: 689,625 pounds of CO2 prevented from entering the earth's atmosphere. This is equivalent to planting 46,500 trees or taking 60 cars off of the road for one year.
